Super Falcons Protests- Presidency Responds


The female national team members who protested at the National Assembly gates on Wednesday morning with placards over the non-payment of their allowances by the Nigerian Football Federation, had some days ago, won the 10th African Women Cup of Nations, beating hosts Cameroon 1-0.
It was a record eighth title for the Nigerian ladies who instead of being honoured and celebrated were ridiculed as their allowances were denied them forcing them to protest.

President Chief of staff Kyari today met with the protesting Falcons players and told them today them: “You girls will be paid in two days time” he made them put down their grouse on a paper.” Each player is expected to collect about $25,000
